I am someone who enjoy cooking and traveling. I like to try new recipes and like to cook for other people as well. As for traveling, whenever I got the chance, I always try to explore a new city or new country. So far, I have been to more than 10 countries and for sure the it will keep adding up.
My position in IFF is a Scientist in Biodegradation testing. On daily basis, we do laboratory analysis to make sure the raw materials that are used to create scent and taste are biodegradable. Aside from that, we also tested a standard method for biodegradability testing that will be used by us and make sure the method is fit for use.
I chose IFF because I have great interest of the world of flavor and fragrances. And knowing that IFF is one of the biggest flavors and fragrance company globally also attracted me. Aside from that, for me, the recruitment process itself was also has its unique point. It was a two-sided interaction and I had the chance also to see how the daily work would be.
This position is about biodegradation, which highly related with sustainability. Since my master’s study at Wageningen University. Sustainability was a hot topic which made me always wanted to be involved in such topic. So that is why this position attracts me. In addition, I also enjoy working in a laboratory, especially at IFF, the lab was equipped with many advanced technologies, so for sure, my practical laboratory skills will continuously improved
Every morning when I came in, I was always welcomed by a very nice scent that was created by IFF, and the people here are also very nice, I am always greeted with a smile and during my first days here, the people are very helpful and willing to answers all my questions.
